Dr. Ayman Samra obtained his NDEB Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1997 at the University of Toronto. He associated in British Columbia prior to practicing in Orangeville. Dr. Samra then moved to Waterloo and opened Bridgeport Weber Dental Centre in 2000.

Dr. Samra provides all aspects of general dentistry including Basic restorative, Aesthetic restorations, Oral surgery, Periodontal treatment, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Crowns, Bridges, Dentures and Implants. He has completed a post graduate residency for Implant surgery and Prosthetics at the University of Toronto,and attended the Nobel Biocare International Implant Symposium in New York.

Dr. Samra has taken Oral Sedation and Nitrous Oxide Sedation training as well as medical emergencies at the faculty of dentistry, University of Toronto. He is licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario for Oral Moderate Sedation. Dr. Samra has current CPR/AEDHCP training. He participated in an extensive occlusion correction course, advanced concepts in Aesthetic restorations, as well as a hands-on orthodontic courses for the general practitioner. A firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Samra regularly attends seminars and courses to build upon his skills. He is a member of the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Dr. Azehar Raouf

Dr. Azehar Raouf has recently joined our team. She is now operating as the associate dentist at the clinic. She obtained her degree from the University of Western Ontario and has over 15 years of experience. She’s had the opportunity to practice her skills internationally, while previously working in her personal clinic in Iraq and practicing dentistry through one of Malaysia’s highly recognized universities.

Dr. Raouf has also furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s Degree specializing in biomaterial and implant material. She is especially interested in restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics and surgery and has recently completed courses focusing on Complex Restorative, Nitrous Oxide and Oral sedation. In addition, she has also been certified in CPR. Dr. Raouf currently is a member of the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. She has a passion for providing the best care to families and individuals that require assistance and hopes to make their oral health a priority. In her spare time, Dr. Raouf enjoys being a mother to her three daughters, spending time with her husband and doing some cooking, planting and travelling. She looks forward to meeting her new patients!


Sonia is a Certified Level II Dental Assistant who graduated with honours from Everest College in 2007. She joined Franklin Dental in January 2012, and helps provide a comforting and compassionate environment for our patients.

Sonia loves meeting new patients and creating lasting, trusting relationships with them. To remain up to date on dental practices, she participates regularly in educational programs and seminars. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, especially her son Teegan.


Rose has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2004. She graduated with honours from Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She has been actively practicing dental hygiene in the region since graduation. Rose joined Franklin Dental team bringing with her extensive expertise and experience in periodontal therapy. As a professional, Rose prides herself in staying up to date with the latest research in preventative oral health care. Her professionalism, passion and commitment are noticeably reflected in her positive attitude and optimal gentle delivery of care. She is a member of College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario, Canadian Dental Hygienist Association, and Waterloo-Wellington Dental Hygienist Society.

In her spare time, Rose enjoys volunteering by going into local schools and community centers to instruct children on practicing dental hygiene methods and to promote oral health education.

When not working, Rose’s interests include traveling, staying active and spending quality time with her two daughters and husband.


Amanda graduated from the Level II Dental Assisting program at CDI College with honours in 2006. She is originally from Toronto and now lives in Cambridge with her family. Amanda joined the team at Franklin Dental in 2014 as our receptionist and Dental Assistant. She loves meeting new people and enjoys helping others with any dental questions or concerns they may have. She likes to spend time with family and friends, travelling and reading. Amanda’s favorite colour is red.
